We are committed to protecting your personal information from unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction in line with the Privacy Policy and to not use it for any other purpose than the performance of the membership agreement unless otherwise required by law. If it becomes necessary to share personal information with a third party for conducting business for this specific purpose, we will ensure that the third party is contractually bound to keep the personal information it receives confidential and to put in place appropriate security measures to keep it secure.

If this application is for a child under the age of 18, the parent is giving consent for us processing the child’s personal information according to our Privacy Policy for the purposes of the performance of the membership agreement. TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

You agree that this signed application for membership is a distinct acknowledgement on your part that you are bound by the Constitution and Rules, Regulations and By-laws of the Scorpions Basketball club and its associated organisations, which are now, or which may be in force in the future. You agree to accept the rulings of the Committee in all cases. You acknowledge that you will not be absolved from the effect of any of the Constitution and Rules, Regulations and By-laws of the Scorpions Basketball club and its associated organisations on the grounds of not having received a copy of any of them.

You acknowledge that the Club cannot be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage to my property or possessions arising out of theft or any other cause, or for any personal injury sustained during participation in Scorpions Basketball Club activities.

OPT-OUT OPTION:

We regularly send out electronic mail regarding activities at the Club. If you don’t want to receive these, please unsubscribe on the first one that you receive and your email address will be removed. You will, however, continue receiving account statements. I understand that if any of the undertakings or statements made by me above are breached or found to be false, this will constitute a breach of the Rules and Regulations of the Club and will invalidate this application and my membership once I am elected.
